Troubleshooting

The watch band is broken or needs repair.

How to use the Time Timer Watch

The Time Timer Watch has three primary modes: Clock, Alarm and Timer. To watch a video on how to use these modes, please view the video embedded at the bottom of this article.

The Different Modes

To begin, it's important to know what mode you're in—and the watch face for each mode looks a little bit different. The image below shows what the watch face for each mode looks like.

Clock Mode

The Clock mode displays time of day using both a traditional analog clock face and a digital numeric display. If a Time Timer is running or an Alarm has been set, a unique icon displays on the right side of the watch face. Time can be viewed in 12- or 24-hour format.

Time Timer Mode

Timer Mode is the most powerful feature of the Time Timer Watch and operates like traditional Time Timer products. You can set an Original 60-minute Timer where time is displayed as a fraction of an hour, or a Custom Timer where a full disk represents any value of time from 1 to 99 minutes.

You can customize the type of alert you'd like to receive at the end of timing. The alert can be a slight vibration on the wrist, an audible beep or both!

Timers can also be set to repeat. For example, if you'd like to receive a vibrate and/or audible alert every 3 minutes, simply set a Custom Timer for 3 minutes and activate the repeat feature. Note that you may see a slight reduction in battery life by frequently using a repeating timer. Click here for more information on Time Timer Watch battery life.

Alarm Mode

Alarm mode provides a single time-of-day alarm where you can be reminded of a particular event at some point during the day.

You can customize the type of alert you'd like to receive at the time of day for which your alarm is set. The alert can be a slight vibration on the wrist, an audible beep or both!

Currently, you cannot set multiple time-of-day alarms with the Time Timer Watch. If there's a particular activity you'd like be be reminded of frequently, you might be able to use a custom repeating timer.

The Time Timer Watch Icons

There are a few different icons that you might see on your Time Timer Watch screen. The image below shows what each icon represents.

For a little extra added context, the image below shows what the Time Timer Watch face would look like if:

  • You're currently viewing Time Timer Mode
  • Have a 60-minute timer running with both an audible and vibrate alert active
  • The timer is set to repeat after remaining 45 minutes is up

Example: When a 15-minute timer is active and the repeat option is enabled, the Time Timer Watch will automatically alert you (with the alert type of your choice) every 15 minutes. This will continue until the timer is manually stopped or the repeat function is turned off by the user. Duration of timer

  • Alert for timer (audible alert / vibrate / no alert)
  • Type of timer (Original Timer or Custom Timer)
  • Repeat (an arrow going in a circle / repeat not chosen is shown by a single dash “-“)

4. Press the SET button to save your setting preference.

5. Press the START button to begin the Timer.

Please note that, if set to repeat, the timer will immediately begin repeating upon completing its cycle. The Timer will continue repeating until the user turns off the repeat function.

Can I set multiple timers on the Time Timer Watch?

Only a single timer can be set on the Time Timer Watch, but it can be set to repeat at the interval you choose. There are two different timer modes on the Watch, the Original Timer and Custom Timer. Click here to learn more about the two timer modes.

For instructions on setting a Custom Timer, click here.

For instructions on setting an Original Timer, click here.

Can I set multiple alarms?

The Time Timer Watch's alarm mode allows you to set a single time-of-day alarm where you can be reminded of a particular event at some point during the day. View this article for instructions on how to set an alarm.

Timer mode is the most powerful feature of the Time Timer Watch and operates like traditional Time Timer products. You can set an Original 60-minute Timer where time is displayed as a fraction of an hour, or a Custom Timer where a full disk represents any value of time from 1 to 99 minutes.

Timers can also be set to repeat. For example, if you'd like to receive a vibrate and/or audible alert every 3 minutes, simply set a Custom Timer for 3 minutes and activate the repeat feature. Note that you may see a slight reduction in battery life by frequently using a repeating timer. Click here for more information on Time Timer Watch's battery life.

How long does the Time Timer Watch battery last?

The expected life of the battery is approximately eight months, based on typical use. If the watch is used to time a short duration (or left running) on the repeat function with vibrating alert, then the battery life will be significantly shorter due to the higher battery requirements for vibration. If a spontaneous watch reset to original factory settings occurs, there is no backlight or a dim display, please replace the battery.

WARNING! INGESTION HAZARD: This product contains a button cell or coin battery.

Is the watch waterproof?

The Time Timer Watch is water resistant up to 30 meters, which means that it can be worn for general use in situations like the shower, a rain storm, or the pool.  While the watch can be worn in those types of situations, the buttons to set the watch should not be pressed while the watch is under water.  This can cause water to enter the main housing of the watch.  General wear and use should not cause water to enter the watch.  The watch is not suitable for diving.

Is the watch silent to operate?

Yes! As of May 2018, all newly purchased models of the Time Timer Watch PLUS have silent operation. This means that the watch will not beep as the user presses its buttons to cycle through different modes or settings.
