1. INSTALL ONE AA BATTERY

The battery cover is located on the back of the MOD. Simply lift battery cover up from the bottom edge to insert AA battery into compartment. Close battery compartment by pressing closed until you hear a “click”.

2. CHOOSE YOUR SOUND PREFERENCE

The timer itself is quiet—no distracting ticking sound—but you can choose whether or not to have an alert sound when time is complete. Simply use the on/off switch on the back of the timer to control audio alerts.

3. SET YOUR TIMER

Turn the center knob on the front of the timer counter-clockwise until you reach your chosen amount of time. Immediately, your new timer will begin to countdown, and a quick glance will reveal the time left thanks to the brightly colored disk and large, easy-to-read numbers.

How to change the Time Timer MOD battery

You'll occasionally need to replace the battery in your Time Timer MOD.

To replace the battery, please follow the instructions below:

If Your Model Includes a Screw on the Battery Door

1. Open the battery compartment on the back of your Time Timer MOD using a small, Phillips head screwdriver.

2. Insert the AA battery negative side (the flat end) first into the compartment so that it is touching the spring.

3. Replace the cover to the battery compartment and tighten using the small, Phillips head screwdriver.

If Your Model Does Not Include a Screw on the Battery Door

1. Open the battery compartment on the back of your Time Timer MOD by gently lifting the door on the back of the timer open.

2. Insert the AA battery negative side (the flat end) first into the compartment so that it is touching the spring.

3. Replace the cover to the battery compartment by simply snapping the door closed.

  • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
  • Do not force discharge, recharge, disassemble, heat above 100ºC or incinerate. Doing so may result in injury due to venting, leakage or explosion resulting in chemical burns.
  • Ensure the batteries are installed correctly according to polarity (+ and -).
  • Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of batteries from equipment not used for an extended period of time according to local regulations.

The Time Timer seems like it can only be set to 59 minutes.

The red disks for the Time Timer PLUS® and MOD® have a clear edge and will sometimes appear as though your timer can only be set to 59 minutes.

The optional beep at the end of timing may also seem to be delayed by a few seconds because the entire disk, including the clear edge, must complete the rotation before time will be up.

The center knob on my Time Timer MOD is broken or has come off of the timer.

The center knob on the Time Timer MOD is designed to be removable, but shouldn't ever fall off on its own. If the center knob that controls the colored disk on your Time Timer MOD has come off or seems loose, simply snap it back into place by gently pushing down on it.

If the knob will not stay in place, or you're still having issues with your timer, please contact us at support@timetimer-europe.com
